Morlin’s artisanship represents the most classical example of the “Veneto” family business. Severino Morlin, founder of the firm, is the creative soul of the nucleus. He studied at the school of art in Nove and at the academy of art in Venice. A well-known painter with dozens of exhibitions and creations both in Italy and abroad, Morlin is the inspirer of the productive lines of the manufacturing. The colour technique belongs to his wife Maria, expert decorator of any piece of ceramic pottery coming out from the firm, a patient and accurate manual labour able to “give life” to every single piece. Perfectly integrated is the role of their sons. Diego, an architect with his own professional studio, follows the products from an aesthetic point of view and often “signs” exclusive realisations of the manufacturing. Gianluca, the youngest, is interested in the technical and productive management of the firm, ranging from the choice of the raw materials to the best execution of the labour phases.
